Hey Valentín, how are you? What’s been going on with you lately?

Hi, I´m very we’ll thanks, right now touring in latino america. My last 3 months has been full of exciting projects, the All Day I Dream release, recording a videoclip for my track Tonight, a new AV live I created for a little festival in ibiza, plus all the gigs. Funny times!

What has your experience of the pandemic been? Did you manage to take any positives away from it?

Very good, i produced lots of new music and i learned so much about new studio skills. I was doing sport everyday and i spent more time with  my family, for me is the definition of a blessing.

How does it feel to be performing in front of people again? How much did you miss it?

I did not miss it much it was very much need it for me to be honest. What i missed is to be dancing free with all of them. Be back at the booths has been great, you can feel the excitement in the people this days.

Where did you write your recent EP ‘Tonight’? Was their any inspiration behind it and did you write it to be heard in any specific settings?

i wrote Tonight EP in ibiza during the pandemic, i just wanted to make a vocal track, so icreated the music and i sent the track to Bird, she wrote the lyrics and sang on it, after this we had a track that sounded to pop music and i loved it. Grateful it was released in ADID and not i was not thinking in any special setting, i just make music.

How do you judge success, is it by sales, high profile support, or is it simply bringing great moments to full dance floors?

For me real success is mostly creating special moments in peoples life. Of course, you can also measure the success of your music by the sales , I had 2 tracks in the Top 10 during weeks and that made me happy, but to receive personal messages from friends or unknown people makes me even more happy.

How important is artwork, format, merch, that sort of thing, do you think the brand image plays a big role?

I think so, it prepares your mind for your listening experience, at the end music speak by itself BUT if you can add cool artworks, march etc, i think it can ve a positive think and make a difference

What artists have inspired your route into dance music, any to share, perhaps a specific track?

Ibiza is my inspiration, its sunsets, mountains, beaches, sunrise, trees. There is nothing that inspires me more than that, and obviously the artist who created the history here, I would mention Jose padilla, who recently passed away, he was the responsible i start getting interest in electronic music 20 years ago. One international producer would be Chaim from Blue Shadow

How did you find growing up in Ibiza? At what point did the bug get you and you realised this is what you wanted to do for a career?

I realized how lucky I am when I start traveling, until then it was a normal life you know, school, family, and during the summer going to the beach, sun and happy people around me, for me it was just normal. (yeah, very lucky!)
When I played in pacha for the 1st time at 18 years old it was the moment I convinced myself that was realistic, I was decided to try it! Then the dream became true when i get in cafe del mar where i had a residency that lasted a decade

What’s coming up next for you? Do you have any aspirations for 2022?

I have a new elease at the end the year, a remix i did for Megablast which includes Chaim and Jenia Tarsol remix too, in January another remix will come out with Kevin Di serna, another producer i love so much, and In march an original will come out.

Regarding gigs we live almost day by the day, looks like now restrictions are back so letssee, at the moment, Madrid, Paris, Cape town, Tulum, Tamarindo , Miami and ibiza are in the schedule.
