Percolate have teamed up with Mad Ferret for a spectacular Halloween hoedown with a real difference taking place at London’s finest terraced venue Studio 338 on October 30th.
Percolate and Mad Ferret have previously collaborated on Summer Solstice and Mexican Death Disco shindigs, which were the talk of the town months after the fact, and as such you can be assured of a fully mind-bending, experiential and escapist experience.
Headlining the event is Detroit’s world famous and one and only funk, soul and house practitioner Moodymann. As well as electrifying grooves from the master himself, you can be sure of so much more – the whole club will be decked out in full decor, with no expense spared on production, including a red carpet, paparazzi, and extraordinary sets designed from the ground up, all of which to have you forgetting you’re in London, and in fact a-wandering post-war 1950s California, through Hollywood’s golden era.
Going under the title of Attack at the Premiere: A masterpiece of B-Movie BLOODBATH & massacre, you are invited to dress with one of these two themes in mind – “The Cult of the Dead Celebrity” or “Man-eating Movie Monsters” – and with costume designing workshops in the lead up, everyone will have a chance to get wholly involved in what is certain to be a truly memorable affair.
Once you arrive with your fellow celebrities and monsters, you can be sure that all manner of unsavoury characters will be roaming about to make for a thoroughly engaging and authentic experience, that is about so much more than just the music.
