Motek Music is a transatlantic electronic music label launched in 2014 with bases both in the US and the UK.
Now, with their third compilation, Motek begins a new concept, its Journeys series, showcasing talents from selected parts of the globe. On October 10, the compilation turns its focus on the US, showcasing the strength of the country’s underground scene with 12 tracks that cover a mix of melodic deep house and tougher dance floor focused tech house and techno sounds.
One of those tracks, ‘Temple’ by Slumber featuring Amunet Shah is our exclusive premiere today. Slumber is the duo of Oona Dahl and Amber Cox who’s mutual passion for electronic music inspired the two to come together as one back in 2009 to form the production and performance duo, while Amunet is a Brooklyn based vocalist who has released on the likes of Last Night On Earth and The Vinyl Factory.
