Incroyable Music continues their journey with Vallant ’s ‘Black Ballerina’ EP-a mature and confident release from the solo producer.
The original work from Vallant‘s ‘Black Ballerina’ features rich piano parts that blend alongside deep and soulful synth progressions, combining over rich drums in fine form. To complete the EP, the previously closely-knit family welcome a flurry of guests with Locked Groove and Fennec & Wolf.
Locked Groove’s interpretation rolls along with a breaks inspired groove and old school rave-like synth stabs that dance and phase throughout the build-up before the orchestral elements enter as groaning string foundations. Vallant returns with his ‘Dark Twist’ introducing icy hats and a greater progressive sound as the original heads into darker territory, ideal for the more peak-time moments. Fennec & Wolf strips things back for a real sunset moment that closes the collection superbly as birds chime and the tumbling drums cast you away to pure tranquility.
