Multimedia artist Michael Ridge has found a unique way of playing your vinyls if, the next time you need to, there are no needles around.

In a delightfully morbid approach is part of the Norfolk, England artists repertoire of temporary installations and short videos. Specifically here, Ridge uses a 7″ record and amplifies the audio using a microphone as a speaker. It seems as though the seagull’s fused skull is just the right combination of lightweight and angular, ideal of record playing.
