The Garden Party made a warm and welcome return across Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th May at Canvas Yard in Leeds.
Famously this is Leeds’s longest running and most essential party and in 2023 it had an all new third stage and headliners including the likes of Pawsa, Skream, Paul Woolford, LF System, Special Request, Sherelle, Bradley Zero, Todd Terje, Palms Trax and Dr Banana.
Here are some of the top sets from the day.

Daniel Avery
Techno experimenter Daniel Avery brings a wide range of influences to his work from drone to ambient to noise, kraut to rock. His textural sounds make for a different kind of techno that is perfect for dark spaces and strobe lit rave action.
Paul Woolford
Paul Woolford is now a Grammy nominated, chart topping producer as well as globe trotting DJ, but he still lives in Leeds. He always serves up his very best when playing on home turf and so it proved as he dropped a thrilling cross section of party starting sounds.
LF System
This pair of lads had the hit of the summer last year. It’s as a feel good house tune with a massive sample and saw them go on to headline all round the world. They know how to bring the good time vibes and that’s what the did with its of classic tunes and singalong moments.
Sherelle
For 140bpm sounds there is no one more on point than Sherelle. She plays at blistering pace as she cuts up bass, club, jungle and whatever else into potent dance floor sounds that never leave anyone wanting. She stayed with her hefty low ends and big bad bass.
Bradley Zero
Bradley is a local lad who has gone on to make his mark on the world stage. His label Rhythm Section is hime to some of the freshest new school sounds around from deep house to lush broken beat via jazz and soul. He played just as eclectic and had a hardcore following who lapped up his every transition and good time groove.
