Echoes from Agartha is one of the most impossibly beautiful festivals you can imagine. It happens in an ancient land in the heart of Anatolia, Turkey. Sandstone caves and mountains formed over millions of years surround the sarges, and warm minimal lighting is projected onto them to make for a dramatic backdrop.
The people are from all over the world and are open minded and friendly, dressed in local costumes, capes and jewellery. The sky is either a clear blue and baked in sun or a dramatic burnt orange and red when the sun rises and sets.
Sets from Keinemusik collective, Guy J, Blond:ish, Zoe Dona, Dixon, Bedouin, Echonomist and many more will all stick long in the memory and images from them have already flooded social media as this is one of the most viral festivals on the planet.
