2015 is shaping up to be one of Ministry Of Sound’s biggest years in recent memory, and their calendar of events get better with every new annoucement. This week news of Doorly & Friends hitting the legendary club was released to the public, with the first party bringing in Chicago stalwart Cajmere, alongside Raf from the 2 Bears and DJ Zinc.
Doorly, resident at Pacha in Ibiza, as well as host of his own ridiculous parties at the infamous Ibiza Rocks events on the island, will be curating his parties at the south-east London club from the 7th February onwards. As we said, Chicago’s own Cajmere AKA Green Velvet will be among his killer roster of talent on the first night. Cajmere, producer of classic house tracks like ‘Brighter Days’ featuring Dajae, the anthem ‘Coffee Pot’ and not forgetting ‘Answering Machine’, ‘Flash’ and ‘La La Land’, among many others. That’s not to mention the hits he’s churned out as Green Velvet, most recently ‘Bigger Than Prince’ killing dance floors around the world.
They’re joined by Raf Daddy from the 2 Bears, PBR Streetgang (who we interviewed recently) and Rinse FM’s very own DJ Zinc takes charge of The 103. So, as you can imagine, it’s shaping up to be quite a night.
With this, Audio Rehab, Rinse FM, Amine Edge & DANCE’s CUFF event plus a diverse range of names like Paul Woolford, Infected Mushroom, Todd Terje, Cassius, DJ Fresh, Legowelt and James Zabiela also scheduled to appear at the club this year is looking like a smash for Ministry.
