Sandbox Festival’s sixth edition goes down 4-6 May Red Sea Riviera in El Gouna, Egypt with the likes of Ame, Butch, Mike Servito, The Mole and many more set to play.
A festival for those looking for mindfulness, Sandbox is a community of like minded revellers, providing a slew of activities for the mind and body – kiting, diving, snorkelling, or relaxing by the sea. Musically, Sandbox is also on point for this philosophy with a diverse selection of artists, many of which representing the more spiritual side of the dance music spectrum.
In terms of “big” names, there is Germany’s Butch, who releases on labels like Moon Harbour, Sea Es Drum and Cocoon, alongside deep house dons Ame (live). Techno fans will have New York’s Bunker star Mike Servito, as well as Pattern Drama and Hamburg man Oliver Schories. On top, expect plenty of live shows from the likes of The Mole, Einmusik & Jonas Saalbach, Santori & Band, The Meteors Project, Hassan About Allam, Sync Tank and Love Over Entropy, while DJs like NU, Konstantin Sibold, Mira & Chris Schwarzwälder, YokoO, Zeina, Ruede Hagelstein, Madmotormiquel, Kicksy and Hisham Zahran also do their thing.
