Family Piknik did not let the pandemic slow it down this year. In 2021 the famous French techno brand managed to host five special parties between July and October with more than 20000 people going to dance to the super sounds. Big names like Artbat, Sven Väth, Monolink, Mind Against, Adam Beyer and Reiner Zonneveld all played and the 10th anniversary of the open air festival was another huge success.
The latest offering from Family Piknik was a 12 hour show at the mega Beziers Arenas. In all, 6000 lucky people packed in and were wowed by mesmeric production including massive lights, visuals, explosive pyrotechnics and more. Of course the sounds were on point too with the German star Boris Brejcha laying down some killer tech house and further goodness came from Space 92 as well as Ann Clue, Ki Yera, and firm favourites Tom Pooks & Joy Kitikonti plus plenty of local talents.
Next year will be special indeed as the crew announce a brand new weekly residency in Montpellier each Sunday from July 3rd to August 26th. As well as that, the legendary open air event will also return to the same famous French techno city so keep your eyes open for news of the first headliners before this year is out.
