We love a bit of Jesse Perez here at Deep House London. Earlier this year he compiled a hilarious alternative guide to WMC for us, filling everyone in on the best sleazy motels and strip clubs in his hometown, Miami.
Besides his great sense of humour, we’re big fans of his music – house music made for party people, straight from the hood, bump ‘n’ grind shiz inspired by Jesse’s experience of ‘backyard parties’ in Miami, back in the day.
So, we’re very pleased to have got hold of this excellent new track which is being released on DJ Sneak‘s always trusty I’m A House Gangster label. It fits perfectly with the IAHG ethos, and is a great representation of Jesse’s sound. It features his excellent use of percussion, which harks back to the early years of house music and Miami Bass, a typically dirty bassline and samples that really set it off, too. One of those tracks that will blow up the dance floor any time of the night or day, fresh!
