Ten years is a long time in any business, especially the often fickle world of clubs, so to last that length of time and still be popular is quite an achievement. Which is why we’re tipping our collective hats at Birmingham’s Rainbow warehouse venue which is not only 10 years strong this year but is also curating some ridiculous line-ups to celebrate their milestone.

In case you didn’t know, The Rainbow is spread over eight venues, ranging from cosy, intimate spaces, right through to vast, open-plan industrial warehouses; including basements, gardens and factories. Each area boasts its own individual character and personality, which is part of the charm of the place. It means that whether you like it dark and dirty, ravey and outdoors or technologically mind blowing, there’s a bit of something for everyone.

We’re massive fans of Below, one of Rainbow’s premier parties run by Adam Shelton… but of course, there are plenty of other events to get stuck into there.

Anyway, the latter part of this year will see a series of events held especially to celebrate Rainbow’s ten-year run and performers include: Annie Mac, Paul Van Dyk, Gorgon City, Hannah Wants, Jamie Jones, Joris Voorn, Steve Lawler, Huxley, Shadow Child, Shy FX, Camo & Krooked and many more. So it’s not just house music that’s being represented there – which is always nice to see.
