Whoa! We’re almost in October now… how the hell did that happen?? Time is quickly passing us by, but there’s still plenty of room to crack on with the parties, of which there are tonnes here in London. This weekend is packed full of events and we’re here to offer our opinion on which are the best ones to visit…

Freerange In-store with Jimpster & friends at Love Vinyl
One of the best new record shops in London hosts Jimpster and his Freerange gang this Thursday for a special in-store performance. Jimpster is also playing out later this weekend at the Soundclash all-dayer in Brixton on Sunday.

Influence Presents: Spiritual Groove
A Guy Called Gerald is one of those names that never seems to fade away, from his classic ‘Voodoo Ray’ up to right now he’s managed to maintain a fruitful career both DJing and performing live. This Friday he does the live thing for Influence, in a church no less. The two-part event continues at Dance Tunnel in Dalston, where Frenchman Jef K will be appearing, along with Elysee.

Oxjam Shoreditch Takeover with Normski b2b Mr. C
Oxfam are always on it when it comes music events and this is no exception. Their Shoreditch takeover involves two old school legends who are still doing the do in the year 2014. Mr. C goes back-to-back with Normski at this loft party, which we reckon will be one of the best shindigs this weekend.

Digital Bitch at Warehouse LDN
Not the nicest name for an event, but we’ll give them a pass… Digital Bitch brings together Chaos In The CBD, Clouded Judgement, Tainted Souls and a special guest from the Hot Creations stable this Friday. Definitely very tempting and we’re sure it’s going to be a top notch night.
