Sebastian Voigt is a DJ & producer now based in Berlin.
Starting in 2012, Sebastian was named resident of Berlin’s Wilde Renate, the venue which he carved his hedonistic sound of diverse, jacking-house and ravey acid-techno. He’s released on labels such as Visionquest, Fathers & Sons, My Favorite Robot, Renate Schallplatten and others, plus remixes for Akbal Music, Keinemusik and others. As for 2016, his release on the Brazilian imprint In Their Feelings received massive support from the likes of ManoLe Tough, Âme and Dixon.

Today’s exclusive premiere is ‘No Time’ off the A side of Sebastian’s upcoming “Untitled” EP. Here, Sebastian uses a classic breakbeat sample, paired with a heavy kickdrum and noisy hihats. The backbone of the track is a rubbery modular bassline that keeps on morphing into sharp FM timbres. Remote vocoder sounds in the break and distorted arpeggios in the end give the track an emotional twist.
