Nic Fanciulli’s The Social Festival returns to Maidstone for their landmark fifth edition over two days, 29-30 September.

As we all know, longevity is no small feet in the what have you don for me lately world, but 5 years in and The Social Festival seems to only be getting started. With a sister Winter festival and an imminent International expansion…not to mention a lineup featuring true premiere names, the fifth time’s definitely a charm for the Kent County Showgrounds based event.

#2. The Stage Hosts

With a festival curated by Nic Fanciulli, there are sure to be some top tier partners involved and this year’s The Social Festival does not disappoint. RESISTANCE will be on hand hosting The Meadow (Carl Cox, Sasha & Digweed et. al), while London institution Fabric hosts The Barn with Nina Kraviz, Function, Terry Francis, Mark Fanciulli and more.

#3. For Ravers by Ravers

Nic Fanciulli and his The Social Festival team pride themselves in bringing ravers an unforgettable festival experience and it shows. The scene veteran brings an unparalleled underground expertise to all aspects of the event, from production to curation, each with the blessings of its biggest underground heroes and media. DJ Mag has called the event its ‘Best Dance Festival 2016’, while Carl Cox has described it as, “What was really amazing at The Social was that you had nearly all the best DJs from all over the world playing all different styles of music,” with Sasha adding simply, “…the festival was possibly one of the best I’ve ever played”.

Across its two days there are many of the scene’s favorite DJs, and a handful of The Social Festival favorites, but this year also sees the debuts of a few artists who have never graced its decks before. #5. Setting Up For Global Domination

Not only will The Social celebrate its 5th anniversary in the UK but it also readies its International expansion to South America in 2018. With stops in Mexico and Columbia on 17/18 March, 2018, headlinined by none other than Carl Cox, the future looks bright for The Social as a traveling International concept.
