With a start in the techno/house scene of Turin, Italy, Yaya has been mixing his unqiue style of Afro laden house since he was a teenager.
Eventually Yaya’s music reached the ears of Loco Dice, who fell in love with the Afro Latin rumba of his ‘Fresca de l’Agua’. Ever since, Yaya became part of the Desolat family. Since then, Yaya has landed in the biggest meccas of European electronic music: Watergate, the Iarmaroc Fest, Bermuda Festival, Row 14, Goa, Sankeys, Mint, Silo, Mad, Miami Music Conference, as well as countless gigs in New York City and around US, South America and Africa.
On 1 May, Yaya will bring his sounds to WetYourSelf at fabric where he will be a part of a special Mayday Bank Holiday event alongside the likes of Nick Curly, Paul Ritch, Nicole Moudaber, Deborah de Luca, and more. Anticipating that event, Yaya has provided 10 tracks he feels are perfect for the fabric dancefloor.
