In all likeliness you have seen this man at least once on your television or computer screen: Northern-Irish actor Kristian Nairn, who plays Hodor, one of the favourite characters of the immensely popular HBO-series Game Of Thrones. This Summer Kristian is taking a break from acting as he is taking on a DJ tour across Australia called ‘Rave Of Thrones’.

Before he was an actor, Nairn was already a formidable DJ. He was a resident DJ at Belfast club Kremlin for over ten years before he started his role in GoT, and has played alongside acts as the Scissor Sisters, Mylo and even EDM superstar Calvin Harris. Joking that his Hodor character would probably be a metal-rock fan, he has described his DJing style as “Chunky, Deep, Dark, Always with Attitude”.

His music will be supported with a visual warm-up act by Ego, consisting out of footage from GoT. This will surely get the crowd rallied up, massively chanting ‘HODOR’ as the actor/DJ will make his appearance in the booth. Whether he opens his set with the intro theme of the series is still unclear…

Kristian will return to his night job as a DJ for a total of six ‘Rave Of Thrones’ shows down under. The tour will start on August 28 and will take Kristian to cities like Sydney, Perth, and Melbourne.
