After offering a tantalizing glimpse of the ’11 11′ album with last week’s ‘My Heart’, Guy Gerber and Diddy, have today unveiled another side to the project, the club track ‘Tourist Trap’.

Visitors to Ibiza may well be familiar with the distinctive Jamie Jones remix which was an anthem from Circo Loco to Solomun + 1, singled out by NPR as a defining moment at Detroit’s Movement and championed by BBC tastemaker Pete Tong. Today the original version of the track has been revealed. Tourist Trap retains the essential mystery and magic at the core of 11 11. It’s a cut of eerie, psychedelic funk, with Diddy’s distorted vocals offering a woozy top-line perfect for soundtracking late nights and early mornings.

The duo’s long awaited album 11 11 is set to be released on Gerber’s Rumours imprint near the end of the summer and will have no price tag on it, but simply be made available to download free of charge. Just like their music, the two artists look like they’re ahead of their time whilst “fingering your subconscious”, as they put it.
