Gargantuan Italy-based electronic music festival, Kappa FuturFestival, is back with a dazzling for its oncoming 2016 edition. Taking place at Parco Dora in Turin on the 9th and 10th of July, the summer showcase is supposed to be attended by 45,000 music lovers from all over the world.
Since launching in 2012, Kappa FuturFestival has firmly established itself on the global festival circuit, with music running from midday through midnight on both Saturday and Sunday. With its varied hangouts, DJs between the trees and lashings of Italian food and drink, this central European festival plays out in massive hangars and industrial spaces in the heart of Torino.
The first names out of the bag for this year are Cocoon’s Sven Väth, CLR main man Chris Liebing, house trio David Morales, Tony Humphries and Louie Vega, plus New Jersey legend Kerri Chandler, Chicago’s Lil’ Louis and New York’s Danny Tenaglia.
Joining them will be Nina Kraviz, the great Carl Cox as well as minimal techno favourites Mike Shannon and DeWalta.
