We’ve touched down in the historic Taiwanese city of Tainan for an interesting new foray into the Asian market, Luc Festival.
As International media partners, LucFest’s position within the robust and renowned Asian music scene of Taiwan, as well as interest in matching and meeting with representatives from countries around the world. On site will be patrons coming from UK, US, the Netherlands, Portugal, New Zealand, Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, India, China, Korea, Japan and Israel to participate in a discourse amongst those who care about the future development of the local music industry and to share in the city’s culture, including amazing hidden sites, breathtaking performances, fresh tea, heartwarming bowls of congee, and much more.
Amongst the festival’s special guests include Glastonbury Festival main stage curator, Martin Elbourne, while the event’s country focus falls on Thailand. From that country, representatives from Cat Radio, Fungjai, Big Mountain, Mind the Gap, and Seen Scene Space , as well as unique Thai bands like Phum Viphurit and iconic post-rock bands INSPIRATIVE, Flammable Goods and The Octopuss.
Taking place across several venues in Tainan, many of the region’s best musicians and underground heroes will come together for a weekend of music. This is something a bit different for us, but with a full conference and performance slate, we’re sure there will be some gems to be found.
