North Carolina’s Moogfest has just announced a comprehensive second phase to their 2018 festival program, including a slew of rare appearances, mind-expanding masterclasses, workshops, and keynotes, and much more.

With previous announced (musical) names including Aurora Halal, Ellen Alien, Fatima Al Qadiri, Honey Dijon, Kaitlyn Aurelia Smith, Shanti Celeste, Umfang, and more, Moogfest is now set to announce the likes of Jon Hopkins (performing twice), Mouse on Mars, DJ Stingray, Helena Hauff, Suzanne Ciani, and more across their diverse musical offerings. Of course, this being Moogfest, artists and appearances are not limited to just the world of electronic music with prominent figures spanning genres including Hip Hop, R&B, Electropop, Industrial and everything in between. Think names like KRS-One, Kelala, Little Boots, Wes Boreland, Author & Punisher, Shabazz Palaces, Psychic TV and more.

Also added to the program will be a master class in visual design from Ezra Miller, Ghostdad and Rainer Kohlberger, and new additions to the immersive 360-degree sound system A3 and Spatial Sound, where listeners listener are elevated to a custom designed multi-sensory experience, include LAYNE‘s premiere of her live score to 1920 German horror classic, “The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari,” in quadrophonic sound and beyond, and Yves Tumor, who will unveil a new audio-visual show with a live visual mix by designer Ezra Miller.
