Here, Amentia builds on their classical training and many years of jazz practice as percussionist and pianist respectively with an EP that is a typically bold, heavily musical fusion of styles. They’re unique version of Techno-Electronica reveal a passion for mesmerizing melodies and old school synths with almost all its the percussions recorded by microphone.
Today’s premiere is the EPs title track, ‘Prince Des Marais’…a delicate dancefloor-oriented cut, built around a killer hook and rolling techno hats.
