The sixth edition of the longest-running one day festival in the Netherlands – 18 Hrs Festival – will make its return this year. With just a bikes distance from Amsterdam’s city centre, the North sea channel location and all day rave is definitely something to look forward to this summer.
Spread across five different stages on the Balkenhaven, the event will house a variety of artists representing some of the finest music the city has to offer. One of the biggest stages will be run by label Terminal M. This will be led by German Techno Queen – Monika Kruse, as they will celebrate the label’s 15th anniversary – along with her impressive roster of label mates.
For the fourth year in a row, Spanish party-champion group Elrow will take over the indoor main room during the night. The insane party will be back with a new crazy theme accompanied by an overabundance of confetti and dress play-acting. Wouter S. will lead the charge on his own stage, packaged into his very own concept – 44Bass. Starting in Utrecht – December 2013, 44Bass represents the best UK House, Bass and Garage that has pulled in artists like Shadow Child, Hannah Wants, DJ EZ, Bicep, and Low Steppa.
Amsterdam-based Happy Feelings will make its debut playing golden oldies, House and Disco from 90’s to 00’s hits. Balloons, confetti, and the happiest DJ’s from Amsterdam will swoon their patrons with their joyful concept. Smile and let go is their motto. Finally, a fifth unsponsored stage will feature the finest techno. No words – only techno. Definitely not a bad way to party.
Some of the additional artists featured for the event will be Answer Code Request, Nick Curly, ROD, Benny Rodrigues, Chapter Digital, Jp Enfant, Julian Alexander, Samuel Deep, Sandrien, Walter Looks, and many more. You can watch the Aftermovie from last year’s edition to fulfill your expectations.
