Ever since ’95, Oxia has been a spearhead on the French electronic music scene with a prolific set of releases on labels such as Saved!, Kompakt, 8bit, Hot Creations, Terminal M, as well as his very own Diversions Music imprint
One of OXIA’s biggest musical accomplishments was his 2006 worldwide smash ‘Domino,’ which now, in 2017, is enjoying a re release via Agoria‘s Sapiens imprint. Originally, the track was hammered by virtually every big name DJ you could think of while racking up the ever important social media streams and views, which continue to this day. On the new package, OXIA enlists three of contemporary dance’s most forward thinking acts to each give their unique interpretation of this bonafide classic. In their own words, Sapiens describes finding just the right remixers and the process behind constructing the EP:
“Finding remixers took some time, the amazing Frankey & Sandrino who’s track ‘Acamar’ is my absolute favourite of 2015, Matador that just launched his Rukus label as well is the multi-talented ex label mate at Kompakt Robag Wruhme. They are all incredibly gifted and fortunately patient enough to wait for this EP”
