On 12 May, two magical worlds come together for an Amsterdam night not soon to be forgotten!
After five successful editions, The Gardens of Babylon (TGoB) has gone strength to strength at home, debuting with an all night journey from YokoO and, most recently, seeing a stacked lineup of Chaim, Timujin, Viken Arman, and many more. Mostly held at its spiritual home of WesterUnie, TGoB has firmly established itself as the go to place for the more esoteric side of dance music, embracing the transcendental philosophy of electronic world music, inviting like minded artists and participants for the journey.
Now, TGoB steps it up a notch and welcomes one of the world’s preeminent dance music brands – Flying Circus. This traveling carnival of wonders has touched down throughout the world, from New York to Beirut, and now comes to Amsterdam with its head honchos and handful of favorites in tow. Of course, Audiofly will be there, the global tastemakers they are. Along for the ride will also be (a very special closed door sunset show) from Francesca Lombardo, as well as the stunning live set from Martin Buttrich, with TGoB favorite Unders rounding out the bill. Expect all the trimmings that make TGoB the one of a kind experience it is – wandering performances, spiritual bazaar, fortune tellers, live art, and much more.
Doors open at 8pm for the welcome ceremony, which will be followed by Francesca’s exclusive set (closed door, so get there early), reopening again at 11pm and going strong through the night. Get those tickets below because this event will be a hot property.
