l’Atelier is a Dutch duo based in Amsterdam who are getting more and more recognition from international artists such as, Taras van de Voorde, Bas Amro, Emanuel Satie, Boris Ross, Peter Horrevorts, Michel de Hey, Luciano, UGLH, Malbetrieb and Mihai Popoviciu. The friendship of Gijs van Willigen and Paul van Veen goes way back in time and resulted in a great duo who have had some great successes and we will be seeing a lot more of them. One of their most proud moments was in 2011 when they reached the number one position in the Deep/Tech House Chart on Trackitdown. It was their release ‘What I See’ with Flavourables from the Ensemble EP on ‘Manchester Underground Music’ which got the honor of this number one position.

The actual first release of L’Atelier was ‘Ca Banera’ in the beginning of 2011 on VEEE Music, the Label of De Sluwe Vos, another big talent in the Dutch Deep House scene who L’Atelier is signed to the Bookings Agency Kreativ, a very cool concept from Tim van Citters and Tijs Luitse who are doing some great things at the moment.

L’Atelier their style is Deep House based with various influence from other styles like Tech and Hip Hop. Their style is well received and this has resulted in some great gigs in various places in Holland. Their energy and skills is what separates them from other artists and if you haven’t seen them you know what to do.

Enjoy this lovely Mixtape from this dutch duo! <3
