After an insane (and sold out) inaugural event last year, Pleinvrees returns to the Amsterdam sporting green space Riekerhaven on Saturday, September 5th, for a festival experience containing much more than just music. Expect familiar names, but also many new heroes, and also featuring an absurdist Andhim-stage, the pub, and a new cabinet of curiosities.

Pleinvrees is like a family and the Heroes festival is the day all its members get a podium to showcase themselves. As you can see, familiar faces like Marek Hemmann, Oliver Koletzki, Worakls and Guy Gerber. The stage hosted by yours truly, will cover some heroes of our own, including Trouw resident Tsepo, playing b2b with Konstantin Sibold, Daniel Bortz, Marcus Worgull, Dauwd [live], and Lithuanian up and comers Few Nolder (Boso) and Gardens Of God (Ellum/Boso).

Gardens Of God has had a groundbreaking eighteen months. Releases on Maceo Plex’s Ellum, chart topping remixes and stand out EP’s in the shape of ‘Gluk’ & ‘Zulu’ have cemented the producer as one of the strongest emerging artists in the Electronic music scene today.

He was selected as BBC Radio One’s first artist to head the new Future 12 series with 5 DJ mixes appearing on Friday nights over as many weeks. Like his mixes, the production also delivers a mature and accomplished sound, weaving between House, Techno and Electronica.
