As the waning of the final winter moon came to an end, Kurt Baggaley entered label ‘Chapter 24’ into the world of wax for its first 12-inch release.
Kurt Baggaley is an artist who lives and breathes the electronic music culture. He has evolved his productions into a unique and personal sound since his early days as the Electro artist Scape One. Taking in influences from early 80’s Chicago House, Detroit Techno and New York Club, with a fusion of Italo Disco, Euro Synth and Electro, his huge Former Self EP on SoHaSo in Spring 2015 was met with widespread acclaim on both digital and physical formats.
Supported by the likes of Michael Mayer and Dixon, his Former Self EP was followed up with a debut on Chapter 24, Spiral EP, a few months later. Since last summer, his new Winterland EP has been in the hands of a chosen few – picked up by artists such as Âme, Solomun and H.O.S.H. at some of the world’s biggest festivals, and supported by Pete Tong along the way.
Winterland EP will be released April 22 via Chapter 24.
