Succeeding its debut release, Braunbeck’s EP Ullalet, last summer, Sol Eterno ushers us into the warmer months with a joint project between the label’s friends, Sifa and Ivory.
Having crossed each other’s career paths at Offerings where Sifa managed and produced, and Ivory released, they rekindled through Sifa’s imprint, Depth, which released Ivory’s “Nocturnal EP”.
Here, off “Wonani EP,” ‘Igazi’ starts off mundane, with bass-battered by organic tribal drums, effectively abrasive percussion, and groove-inducing claps that feel all too real to the touch. As the tempo growss, a delicate dribbling of synth sounds delivers itt into a tense, body-tingling climax.
“Wonani EP” is available 13 April on Sol Eterno PRE ORDER
