We present you the third podcast in collaboration with Straf_Werk Festival on the 11th of August. This time our talented young producer Luis Leon made an outstanding set!
Known from his “Love Is A Lie” EP on Double Tree Records, which is supported by some big boys in the scene like M.A.N.I.K, Thugfucker, Finnebassen, Climbers, HOSH, Moon Boots and much more. Also his edit of The Smiths – This Charming Man was a big hit this year and has over 200.000 plays on his own Soundcloud and from Blankhaus. This same edit was played at Radio 538, Dance Department last weekend.
At this moment Luis Leon is working on some new tracks and on new edits, which give his DJ sets a warm, unique and personal sound. This summer Luis Leon will be touring in Europe and of course he plays on the 11th of August at Straf_werk Festival amongst big names like NOIR, MANIK, Dusky, Amine Edge, Chopstick & Johnjon, Pillowtalk, David August and many more. The last 2 of those names will perform live.
Straf_werk is an initiative that started 2 years ago actually as an afterparty but soon moved to the ‘Melkweg’ and since then has grown massively. With names such as Jamie Jones, David August, NOIR, DJ T, Daniel Bortz, Amine Edge, Todd Terje, Laura Jones, Ben Pearce and some of our own dutch talents such as Prunk, Homework and PONY. The future is looking bright for this still young organization. With a coproduction named DGTL and many great events coming up they are not to be stopped.
