Emotions, Melody and Rhythm. Those are the keywords to describe Jin Choi’s new release on Serialism, “Delirium Ep”. The Berlin based artist has already been in the Serialism spotlight with 2012’s “Full Range”, a release that came backed by a remix from Maceo Plex. His unique sound has developed even further, leaving a special mark on electronic music through his releases with the likes of Lessizmore, Contexterrior and his own Private Gold imprint.
Jin Choi’s original cuts here are strong musical journeys that cross Techno and Dubstep, A combination of the Berlin and London sounds and sitting comfortably between the Past and Future. Romantically charged emotions and broken rhythms. The Delirium ep also includes a minimal avant garde rework by Jazz musician David Koch aka DeWalta of the Vakant and Meander family.
