After five sold-out editions, Amsterdam Open Air is returning to Amsterdam’s Gaasperpark once again. During the first weekend of June, Open Air will set up shop at their continual location, hosting stages for over thirteen local promoters like Straf_Werk, Format, Slapfunk, Weiter.
Festival goers can expect to hear an international mix of rising stars, industry veterans, alternated by promising local talent, and bands. Next to favourited Dutch acts such as the Gallowstreet brass band and Jeugd van Tegenwoordig, there is plenty of highly anticipated dance programming this year, in the form of Fritz Kalkbrenner, Todd Terje, Green Velvet, Route 94, Oscar Mulero, Efdemin, George Fitzgerald, Dominik Eulberg, De Sluwe Vos, Planetary Assault Systems, Sam Feldt, Tom Trago, The Magician and many more.
Visitors of Amsterdam Open Air will again have the option to stay overnight at Gaaspercamping. On Friday, Saturday and Sunday there will be an after-hours music program that will last until 4:00 AM at the Camping Stage, Silent Disco, and Music Lounge. The campsite is open from Friday June 3rd at 12:00 PM till Monday June 6th at 12:00 PM.
