Bungalup Belgium, the Southern spin-off of the Netherlands’ wildly popular Bungalup event, has just announced the first names. Topping the bill to much surprise is techno kingpin Derrick May, along with Belgium-based DJ/producer Aeroplane and Dutch DJs from a variety of musical styles.

From the 11th to the 14th of March, Center Parcs De Vossemeren in Lommel (which will be entirely rented out to Bungalup for this weekend) will be turned into an adult’s playground for the debut edition of Bungalup Belgium. After the long-running Dutch edition has proven itself as the first electronic music weekender in a bungalowpark, the choice was easily made to attend the demand of the Belgian dance public for something sort-like in their country. So this March, ticketholders at De Vossemeren can expect their fair share of tropical poolparties, outdoor quests, ‘hung over disco-bowing’, and plenty more activities that you’d want on a weekend like this.

Hostingpartners this year are Tom Trago & Friends, Nächtvøgels, Duikboot and Biki90. A generation-exceeding musical program that, next to the above-mentioned headliners, is to feature the likes of Joost van Bellen, the ex-RoXY resident, Tom Trago, De Sluwe Vos, Doppelgang, and many more. In the next few weeks, the organisation of Bungalup will gradually release the entire line up for the weekender.

Ticket and bungalow sales have started from as of today. Bungalows can be rented for either 4, 6 or 8 people.
