1. Children – Robert Miles
In that time when I started to DJ, it was popular trance and hard house, I hear those tunes often in the club and that melody catch my attention, make me curious, make me I want to listen more and search for music like that.
2. Underworld – Born Slippy
I remember this track from Ministry Of Sound club in Bangkok around 2001-2002. I saw foreign DJs to perform there, I had no idea what a DJ was, but made me pursue that I wanted to be one!
3. Groove Armada – Superstylin’
As much as I’m digging electronic music I love, I also find more genres I don’t know, I found this tune and feel immediately Love, super-danceable and I think when I’m behind the booth and I play it, the way dance floor react is just indescribable
4. Moloko – Sing It Back
The minute I discovered this track I fell in love with Roisin Murphy. Everything about this track is magic. I still playing it in different versions I love it so much. You don’t need a hard beat (as I started with) to make me understand House Music and start to dig on records shops for Disco and Soulful House. A game changer.
5. Crystal Waters – Gypsy Woman (She’s Homeless)
Back in 1991, the groove I discovered was an indication of a big part of my musical knowledge. Crystal Waters is an amazing artist and lovely person. I’m still playing it on my sets, always the original version, never found anyone who don’t dance to it and love it
