Christian Nielsen has emerged onto the scene quickly and proficiently. Catching attention from labels such as Noir, 8bit and Play It Down, his success due to his poignant and distinctive sound was inevitable. His working efforts are hidden in an office by day, and bloom in the evenings where he perfects and showcases his sound.
His music has evolved out of close study of musical inspirations such as Kerri Chandler, Mr. V, Moodymann and the late works of Frankie Knuckles. His more recent productions have developed into an alternative state of house that is unique within the club scene. His productions have the perfect balance between up-beat tempos and mellow progressions.
In terms of his mixing ability, Nielsen likes to leave a signature stamp on tracks and is a master of ensuring tracks don’t lose their originality. His efforts have driven him all over the globe, filling clubs in the U.S and dominating alternative clubs in Europe.
