Pete Tong made his debut on Suara in September 2014. For this release called ‘The Bumps’, Pete had teamed up with his friend John Monkman. It was to be a juicy melodic tune. The influence of John Monkman could be felt heavily on the title track, derived from earlier Monkman releases on Get Physical, Armada, Warung or Anjunadeep.
The original cut came backed with a remix from Pleasurekraft, who turned it into a peak-time stormer. After nearly a year, Suara is coming out with a remix package of the original, presenting some more household names this time: Moby, Suara boss Coyu and Julian Jeweil. Today we’re featuring the premiere of Coyu’s take on ‘The Bumps’.
