As Pete Tong would be taking charge of the legendary BBC Radio 1 Prom night in the Royal Albert Hall, he employed the Heritage Orchestra, conducted by Jules Buckley, to play a selection of some of the biggest Ibiza dance classics, like Inner City’s Good Life, Frankie Knuckles’ Your Love and Fatboy Slim’s Right Here, Right Now.
It’s an incredible performance where the biggest tunes in dance music are giving another dimension by the orchestra, with strings, live pianos and drumming giving the masterpieces a more generic touch. Check out the full performance of Radio 1’s Ibiza Prom below.
