Early this morning, Ibiza superclub Amnesia was raided by the police.
The news was broken via Diario de Ibiza, with the information that Spanish Guardia Civil entered the club via helicopter in a joint operation with tax authorities, resulting int he arrest of the club’s owner Martin Ferrer and three others. For now there is an order of secrecy around the investigation, but El Mundo reports the initiative was an anti-drug operation and the result of a months long investigation.
The incident occurred at 8am, about 2 hours after the club’s closing, and also includes allegations of money laundering
