The second special podcast for Wonderland Festival comes from the hands of the Dutch deep house star Karmon. On February 15, this true artist will surely be setting the dance floor on fire with one of his characteristic & hypnotizing sets.
Drumming on all kinds of household equipment and jamming on the guitar until his fingers hurt, it was pretty clear that a path into music was set. When and how was not yet clear at that time. It was in 2003 that Karmon came into contact with electronic music through his older brother. At that time he experimented with different styles and setups with mild success, but it wasn’t until early 2012 when the artist Karmon, as he is now known and loved, was born. Having experienced various flows of electronic music, he now set out to develop his own style and with great success.
In a matter of months top chart productions were coming out of the Karmon studio. Starting out with his debut release “Turning Point” on Sintope and then followed up with “Wowshit” on Diynamic, where he is now a respected member of Solomun’s family. The rest is history as the future looks bright for Karmon. His schedule, inspiration and motivation are growing, and with an intense touring schedule he proves to be a favourite in many parts of the world.
On February 15, this Dutch superstar will be playing at the mystifying Wonderland Festival, an event where anything is possible, and where ‘normal’ is a curse word, Karmon has all the freedom to lay down an intimate and special set that won’t go unnoticed. Next to Karmon a range of other house and deep house artists are joining the feast, like Sidney Charles, Darius Syrrosian, Tapesh, Homework, Prunk and many others. If you wanna join this 16-hour marathon of beautiful music and do not yet have a ticket, than hurry! Because the last amount of late tickets is limited… We can’t wait for this day to come, luckily we have Karmon’s mix to keep us warm while waiting.
