A year ago Kevin and Glenn decided to start a new project called PONY. As they were both playing Soulful Deep House Music and producing as well, Kevin and Glenn decided to do something together. That’s how PONY got into existence. Inspired by their hairstyle that they both had at that time, the name PONY arose. Together with Karmon, who you probably know from his track Turning Point, they define their music as Sjpez Music, which is a dialect for Space Music in ‘Limburg’, the south of Holland.
Their Fine baselines with melodic synths at a low Bpm seem to really grab everybody’s attention in the clubs and not only in the clubs, but also from the Diynamic label boss Solomun and others from the Diynamic family such as David August. Their first release on Sintope Digital together with Karmon has been a big success and got the likes from Solomun, Nhan Solo, H.O.S.H., No Artificial Colours and David August. Not the least names in the game!
It seems that their ‘Sjpez’ music is working out also outside the borders.
Their first solo EP is coming up soon on the Mexican label Union Jack Recordings. Made To Move just released an EP on Union Jack and soon Adam Banks and JOBE will release an EP as well.
