To many, Ben Pearce’s name is synonymous with ‘What I Might Do’, his debut single that became a house anthem on club floors across the world in 2012. While Ben is a platinum achieving artist, he maintains a perfect balance between his breakthrough success and underground-born talent.
During his rise, Ben developed a reputation through his remixing prowess and original productions, eventually being named DJ Mag’s Best Breakthrough Producer in 2013. He went on remixing for Le Youth, Kwabs and Tender Games in 2014, collaborated with Black Orange Juice “Predictable” for MTA, and released the underground club infused ‘Lego’ EP on his own label imprint Purp & Soul.
Through 2015, Ben continued to tour around the globe, starting the year in Australia before embarking to Miami where Ben played his special Sextape Series set. He was given a recurring residency at Ibiza club Ushuaia, with additional appearances at We Love…, Magna Carta, and the inaugural Creamfields festival. To top the tour off, Ben played at the first ever Lost Village Festival as well as Parklife, We Are FSTVL and the Ruis Festival in the Netherlands.
After becoming revered for his classic disco sets at golden beach hotspots, the legendary Giorgio Moroder enlisted Ben to play a special set at the launch party for his new album at Shoreditch House. Alongside the hectic touring schedule, Ben provided remixes for the likes of IYES and Hayden James, and Shadowchild with featuring vocalist Laurel – reinforcing his penchant for blending astute melody with peak-time bass.
