Digging into the aesthetics of vintage music imagery is Adult Swim, who recently released their new sketch ‘Lords of Synth’ last week. After this stunning short sketch, it is clear that there is only one hope for humanity… the synthesizer.
Titled as Live at the Necropolis: Lords of Synth, the retro-fitted homage is near reminiscent of a Hellenistically-derived Music God battle for the heavens. A triangular display of action between the characters ‘Morgio Zoroger’, ‘Carla Wendos’ and ‘Xangelix’ is narrated by anchors whose persona is resemblant to Ron Burgundy. Watch and wait until your eyes explode.
