Neil Flynn’s musical accolades extends from renowned productions to club residencies and frequent bookings at parties and festivals throughout Europe and beyond.
The Irish-born Berlin émigré has shared a DJ booth with the likes of Dixon, Mano le Tough,, Ame, and Baikal, and has released on the likes of Lossless and Needwant.
Here, Neil’s Reduction Edition of Masaya‘s ‘Borderline’ is a masterclass in minimalism, keeping the listener gripped as vocals evolve into synth lines and back into vocals again, all against a pared down techno backdrop. Selected from Masaya’s recently released ‘Picking Up The Pieces’ LP, this refined track also features interpretations from Patrice Baumel and Johannes Brecht.
“Borderline” is available 7 April on Chapter 24 Records
