Today, we exclusively premiere The Element & Musumeci’s “Pneuma”, from their forthcoming EP of the same name, an alluring affair that’s rounded off by Lehar and Olderic on remix duties.
Musumeci is a musical project by Mauro Di Martino, sicilian dj and producer since late 80s. ‘The Gemini Project’ album on his own label Engrave Ltd has put Musumeci on the map thanks to the massive support by djs like Dixon, Ame, Mano Le Tough and Solomun just to name a few.
His music appears also on Aeon, Bedrock, Connaisseur, Compost Black Label, Diynamic Music, My Favorite Robot and OFF Recordings. Musumeci is also member of Human Machine’s combo and runs The Sound Of Connaisseur’s radio show on Ibiza Global Radio alongside Lehar and Olderic.
Maltese DJ The Element first started DJing way back in the early nineties. So skilled and captivating a spinner was he that in 1998 The Advent invited him to tour the globe. Together they toured with Cisco in some of the worlds’ most legendary clubs and festivals including Twilo in New York, Zouk in Singapore, Red No 5 in Chicago and Awakenings Festival in the Netherlands. He is also the driving force behind Cosa Nostra Malta, a new clubbing concept. It became home to many international artists namely Tale of Us, Mind Against, Matthew Johnson, Richie Hawtin, John Digweed, Green Velvet, Sasha, Dixon, DJ Tennis, Art Department and many more and week after week the night rapidly gained success, making Malta known around the scene in the process.
