The festival is best known for its special philosophy. The area can only be entered and exited through one gate and every year it symbolically proclaims itself as an independent “republic”, with a government lead by a queen, its own foreign ministry and plenty of other ministers (ministers of happiness, dance and rave, intellect, visuals and illusions). Of course there are also plenty of laws
#06 | 31 July – 02 August | Nachtdigital | Tickets | Bungalodorf Olganitz, Germany |
Nachtdigital is a smaller scale festival, happening annually for almost two decades now. It’s held at a GDR-era resort within the limits of a small eastern German town. Nachtdigital’s reputation grew significantly in the past few years, thanks to a smart booking policy and high production standards. This year DJs like Ben UFO, Prosumer, Barnt and Joy Orbison are part of the line up of the festival. But since the capacity didn’t grew with its reputation the festival is always sold out in record time. This year it only took a staggering two minutes.
