Expanding to SIX days this years, Defected is presenting it’s Croatia’s offspring for another edition of sunny celebration of house music and revealing it’s first names in the line-up. Which this edition it is all about melodic sunny tunes, so perfectly fit for the location of the Tisno Garden.
Starting with several house legends, Detroit-rooted MK (aka Marc Kinchen), dancefloor’s favourite Todd Terry and coming back for possibly another stunning headline set after the last year’s one, is Dennis Ferrer, who is also the man behind the 500th release of Defected. The two joined by the man of the moment Eats Everything and other heavyweight house stars Roger Sanchez, Joey Negro, Sandy Rivera and the prolific producer of melodic house tunes Julio Bashmore. Not to mention the Crookers and Soul Clap will be bringing their sunny tunes to Croatia after a full year of touring and album releases.
The location chosen for Defected is a favourite choice for several festival productions for a reason – the beach of Tisno – holds an intimate private bay that can contain around 1500 people, charming wooden boats used for sea-faring parties, and the town itself, conveniently located halfway between Zadar (45mins) and Split (60 mins) airports.
