French producer and event enthusiast Abstraxion delivers a melodically smooth yet enticing mix to make Monday morning much more bearable.
The French producer, otherwise known as Harold Boué is based in Marseille. It is here that he constructed his very own music studio that is brimming with old analogic instruments that allow him to experiment with the concoction of sounds he uses in his productions today.
Having a key focus on raw and original sound, the producer is not shy when it comes to using a variation in synths and polyrhythms all of which capture and aspect of spontaneity. Abstraxion has many musical talents to be proud of, inclusive of his 2 year old project LAB. LAB is a bi-monthly b2b session that has played host to many of the elites; John Talabot, Roman Flügel and Axel Boman to name a few.
2016 marks an important year for the producer as it greets the 10th anniversary of Biologic Records label which he co-manages with DJ friend DC Salas. In addition to the anniversary celebration, he also has a new LP that aired this Autumn “She Thought She Would Last Forever“. The LP has welcomed new remixed editions exhibiting remixes from Mattheis and one of DHA’s favourite uprising stars, Clarian.
Today’s mix really reciprocates the original elements Abstraxion likes strives to acheive, expressing mellow undertones that diffuse into upbeat melodies. You can really begin to imagine him experimenting in his home-made studio back in the South of France.
