Hailing from Dublin, VIA Vancouver, Paul Kelly and Nina Knezevic are Deadbots. They’ve remixed the likes of Arthur Baker, Erol Alkan and Andy Meecham AKA Future Four, Designer Drugs, Sharam Jey, The Japanese Popstars, SymbolOne and Hystereo to name a few. Never ones to pigeonhole their sounds, Deadbots transcend many genres. With a passion for analogue synths, this time around Deadbots offer up a slice of dark disco, tinged with their own inimitable style.
It’s the follow-up to last year’s lauded ‘The Pink Collection’. Once again, the acclaimed Ghent based imprint selected 12 brand new songs with exquisite care. An effortless journey encompassing a range of sounds through indie dance, nu disco and electronica, it’s reassuring to find that Eskimo still stands for timeless quality and originality. Even though ‘The Blue Collection’ is being released next week, you can hear the Deadbots creation here first, in full. Turn it up!
