Japanese turntable enthusiast, Fumihito Taguchi has put together quite the collection of equipment over the years.

Now documenting his extensive collection in the new book Japanese Portable Record Player Catalog, Taguchi lifts the veil of a collection of true rarities. Just check out the gallery below featuring a handful the 1960s-1980s produced pieces. Forget how they sound (although Im sure they have a high nostalgic quality), and just focus on how they look..pretty damn cool if you ask me.

If you happen to be n Tokyo between July 20 – August 28, you can check out these pieces and more at Tokyo’s Lifestyle Design Center.
