Leftwing & Kody are a UK duo that are relatively new to the scene, but have been making some pretty impressive strides in the past one and a half year. By pulling their sound from the old school and giving it a modern twist in their  own way, they have created records that have immediately grabbed the attention of the industry. Their swinging hi-hats, low slung synths and infectious bass lines were picked up by leading labels as OFF and Exploited. Their releases on those labels, like the well-known “Bump & Flex EP”, stayed in the top ten of Beatport for over a month. Along with the encouragement from artists like Dusky, Laurent Garnier, Huxley and Jimmy Edgar, the ball really started rolling for the two Brits.

On the other side of the studio we have Kruse & Nuernberg, two artists who have been a similar presence in the deep house scene. They too are a core part of the OFF family, with steady releases that are known to shake some serious hip. From their working places in both Hamburg and Berlin, the brothers in arms have a significant part in the deep house revival that’s happening across the world.

On February 10, OFF Recordings is coming round with a VA release celebrating their 5 years existence. The boys have teamed up to create a track that we will be hearing in clubs for some time to come. “Turning” is an energetic, no-nonsense piece of work that begs you to move your feet, swaying from uplifting moments to darker undertones and back, sparking your interest down the line. Next to Leftwing & Kody and Kruse & Nuernberg, Andre Crom, Teenage Mutants, Chi Thanh and Mat.Joe make their appearance on this luscious body of work.
